Chen gives new cars to replace Japanese ones

Chen Guangbiao, a 44-year-old Chinese businessman and philanthropist, holds a ceremony to offer 43 new domestic cars to people whose Japanese-brand cars were damaged during anti-Japan protests over the Diaoyu Islands dispute across China. The ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon in Nanjing, capital of East China’s Jiangsu province. Each car cost 128,000 yuan ($20,317). Chen is known for his high-profile charity activities.
